SOR Roker 2012 videos

Seven videos were played at the different locations throughout the seafront at Roker during the S.O.R. game on 12 August 2012. They were telling a story, something about a Pirate and a hidden treasure…
Players had to find their location and obtain the clues embedded in the videos to play the game. Each was displayed on a different type of device and context. Five other clues were in printed format and hidden along the seafront.

Station 12: Spottee’s Cave

This film was projected onto a screen in the cave at the north end of Roker

Station 11: the Yacht Club

This film was shown on a laptop at the reception of the Club at the south end of Roker

Station 9: the Watch House Museum

This film was projected onto a screen in one of the Museum’s rooms

Station 7: the Marine activities centre

This film was shown on a TV screen in the window of the centre

Station 5: Roker Pier gates

This film was shown on a mobile phone by one of the Pirate’s allies by the gates

Station 3: Smugglers Pub

This film was shown in the Pub’s a screen

Station 2: Cliff-top Lifeguard Pod

This film was shown on a mobile phone by one of the Pirate’s allies by the Pod
